Lexicography MasterClass Ltd is a company specializing in lexicography and lexical computing. We run training courses, design and build language corpora, supply lexicographic software, and provide a complete project-management service for lexicographic projects, from conception to delivery.
Who we are and what we do
LexMC's three directors have an unrivalled range of experience in the production of dictionaries, and an outstanding record of innovation in lexicography and lexical computing. All three have been closely involved in the 'corpus revolution', and all three have played leading roles in the planning and development of several groundbreaking and market-leading dictionaries, both bilingual and monolingual.
They have also been involved in a number of major international research projects, including FrameNet and SENSEVAL. Their experience in teaching and training is unique in the field, and they have written a number of influential papers on practical and theoretical issues relating to dictionary-making.
Each is a world leader in his or her special field, and their individual skills complement one another to provide a unique portfolio of expertise.
